This Privacy Policy describes how MyEFTProgress.com (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the website https://www.myeftprogress.com (the “Service”).

This project is developed and maintained by a single independent individual based in the United States. It is not a company or registered business entity and is not affiliated with Battlestate Games or Escape From Tarkov.

1. Information We Collect

a) Discord Account Information

If you choose to sign in with Discord, we may receive certain information from Discord, such as:

• Discord user ID
• Username and display name
• Avatar
• Email address (if provided by Discord)

We do not receive or store your Discord password.

b) Quest and Progress Data

The Service allows you to track your Escape From Tarkov quests and progress. We may store information such as:

• Which quests are in progress or completed
• Your selected trader and level settings
• Kappa item ownership status

This data is primarily used so you can see and sync your progress across devices.

c) Usage Data

We may collect non-identifying usage data such as:

• Pages visited
• Basic technical information (browser type, device type)
• Approximate location inferred from IP (city/region level)

d) Cookies and Local Storage

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to:

• Keep you signed in
• Remember your preferences
• Store local copies of your quest progress

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate users via Discord
• Sync and display your quest progress
• Maintain and improve the Service
• Protect against abuse or misuse

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

3. Sharing of Information

We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers solely to operate the Service, for example:

• Discord, for authentication and login
• Supabase, for database and authentication infrastructure

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or in response to a valid legal request.

4. Data Retention

Quest progress data and account data may be retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward in order to maintain the Service. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).

5. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to help protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will delete it.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You may request that your account and associated quest progress data be deleted. To do so, please contact:

8. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. By using the Service, you understand that your data may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

9. Not Affiliated with Battlestate Games

MyEFTProgress.com is a fan-made tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Battlestate Games or any of its partners. All Escape From Tarkov related trademarks and assets are the property of their respective owners.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
